From Oetz/sports field, the 28-kilometer mountain bike circuit leads along the little-used Beerweg to Sautens. Past the Sautner Forchet, the extensive forest area, it goes to Roppen. In Roppen, you meet the Inn cycling path on the banks of the Inn, which you follow downstream to Haiming. From there, the route goes back via Wiesrainstraße, past the sports center, to Ötztal station. Upon reaching Ötztal station, the circuit continues on the Ötztal cycling path (11), passing AREA 47 over Brunau and Sautens, back to the starting point in Oetz.

    Roadbook

This beautiful circular route starts at the central car park in Oetz. There is also a bike bus stop directly next to the car park (Oetz municipal office). Leave the car park on the left side and follow the paved path along the Ache for about 500 m. At the junction to Piburger Straße, turn left, cross the bridge and then ride about 300 m to the Beerweg junction. Continue following the paved path through large meadows to Sautens. Along the village street, pass through the town of Sautens and ride past the sports field through the forest to Roppen. You enter the town of Roppen from slightly above, so the first altitude meters go quite steeply downhill. Continue cycling through the district of Oberängern and go straight at the Oberängern/Mairhof junction to Mairhof. Ride past the cemetery on the right, and at the next junction turn right into Dorfstraße. Follow this street for about 800 m and turn left into Unterfeld. Continue cycling through the underpass and shortly afterwards cross the railway tracks and then the Inn. On the opposite bank of the Inn, you join the paved Inn cycling path. Follow this for about 6.5 km towards Innsbruck. You pass through the towns of Riedern and Schlierenzau and finally cross a bridge again at Magerbach to the south bank of the Inn. Here follow the Alte Bundesstraße across the town of Haiming. After about 1.5 km, you reach the Glatzl organic farm on the left side of the path. Directly opposite, turn right into Wiesrainstraße.

Continue comfortably past the forest swimming pool and the football field until you reach a junction after about 2 km. Turn left here and ride on Industriestraße through the underpass under the railway tracks. Immediately after the underpass, turn right and follow the path to the station building and the station square. Continue to keep right there, passing by the fashion store Wammes and the restaurant Günthers Grill along Ambergstraße. After 200 m, turn right onto Riedernstraße and again after 100 m turn left onto Wassertalstraße. Follow Wassertalstraße until a forest road branches off to the right into the forest. The forest road leads gently through the pine forest to the bike bridge over the Ötztaler Ache. The Ötztal cycling path (11) leads directly to the AREA 47 site. For adventurers and adrenaline junkies, exactly the right place to push their limits. Whether it's the high ropes course at 28 m height, the flying fox, or the mega swing, fun and action are guaranteed. AREA 47 also offers many opportunities for spectators. Whether at the WAKE-BOARD lake with a small buffet and roof terrace or in the Lakeside restaurant directly on the bathing lake. You can hardly stop marveling.

At the end of AREA 47, cross a bridge again and then follow the Ötztal cycling path along the Ötztaler Ache towards Brunau. Initially, the path is paved until it leads into a forest road at the next junction.

Arriving in the village of Brunau, cross another bridge to the right side of the Ötztaler Ache. Follow the path along the river valley upstream. After another wooden bridge, the path runs parallel for a short distance to the Ötztaler Bundesstraße. Soon you reach a small chapel. Here the path moves away from the street again. Attention: The path splits here. Cyclists turn left here and follow the paved path through wide fields back to the town of Oetz.

At the end of the meadow path, you reach Achrainweg again and follow it for about 500 m back to the starting point at the central car park.
