Easy and family-friendly route, perfect for exploring the nearby surroundings of Sölden.
Just under five kilometers and 106 meters of elevation on asphalt and gravel paths are a child's play even for young riders. Or you can use the route for a short warm-up sprint before tackling serious climbs. The route leads from the Freizeit Arena starting valley downstream towards the north along the Ötztal Radweg 11 and loops back to Sölden at Kaisers. The pleasurable ride along the foaming Ötztaler Ache then leads back to the starting point, the Freizeit Arena.

Roadbook
The starting point of this family-friendly cycling route is the Freizeit Arena in Sölden. From the Freizeit Arena, take the first street on the right and follow the Ötztal Radweg valley downstream. You comfortably roll along the municipal road and then follow Waldelestraße. Here you pass the pavilion and the playground "Waldele." The path continues through the hamlets Rechenau and Schmiedhof. You always follow the paved road east of the Ötztaler Ache. After about 2 km, you reach the hamlet Kaisers. At the fork, turn right and follow Kaiserbergstraße towards Höfle. At the first curve, a narrow path leads up towards the forest. Here it may be necessary to push the bike briefly. Once at the top, follow a beautiful, wide forest road back towards Sölden. This path passes water and many benches inviting you to linger and enjoy the view. Continue following the path until you reach the village hamlet Rechenau. At the intersection, turn left and continue valley inward towards the starting point. The gravel path then turns back into asphalt. After just a few meters, you reach Hotel Sunny. A short stop here is worthwhile. Here, besides a large playground, a small pump track also awaits the little ones – ideal to practice some riding technique! The path continues along Rechenaustraße. You comfortably roll back to the starting point, which you reach again via the municipal road.
