Europe's most outstanding adventure playground

Nature and high tech merge at the entrance to Ötztal, coupled with a healthy dose of fun. Located on an area of 9.5 hectares, exactly at the Earth's 47th parallel, the AREA 47 opens up an exciting universe for outdoor lovers and adventurers of all ages. Unlimited outdoor action on land or in the water, top-notch theme gastronomy or platform for business incentives: Almost 40 summer fun sports are waiting to be tried out. If you like being on the move, this is the right place for you.

Unlimited water fun

The wet element holds plenty of alternatives for both action-packed and cooling adventures. The Water AREA with its furious Waterslide Park - including dizzying high water slides, a diving tower, beach soccer and volleyball courts - offers unlimited summery pleasures for the active. Particularly spectacular adventures can be admired on the overhanging deep-water soloing boulder wall on the lake shore, the slackline, the Slip’n’Slide, the cannon ball, the blobbing area or in the Splash Track. A 20,000 m² lake forms the heart of the Wake AREA equipped with 5 masts, a 420 m long lift and lots of kickers and boxes. Equipment such as wakeboards, wakeskates, water skis or kneeboards can be hired for a fee on the spot.

Splash Track: never fall down!

The ultimate Splash Track in the Water AREA, most comparable to the Ninja Warrior course on TV, is a 50 meter long, inflatable water park featuring two tracks. The challenge is to be faster than your competitor without falling into the water. Easier said than done - as physical effort and skill are required to be the first to cross the finish line. You balance across tubes while jumping, climbing or sliding over obstacles. You should also keep an eye on your competitor. The Splash Track is suitable for children from 6 years onwards and is included in the admission price to the Water AREA.

What more could an outdoor heart desire?

Climbing and speed fans will get their money's worth at the entrance to Ötztal. The offer includes a high ropes course and a climbing tower, the "Mega Swing" liana or a flying fox over 350 meters long. On the perfectly shaped track of the off-road hall, E-motocross machines are ready for a trip into the world of motocross sports. The certified guides of the AREA 47 accompany you on the Längenfeld  via ferrata and promise memorable river rafting, canyoning or caving adventures through dark tunnels. And since a day in the Alps' largest adventure playground is definitely too short, you can choose from varied accommodation options just perfect to spend time chilling out and sleeping in. The AREA 47 is open from end of April to beginning of October.
