20 years Knappenweg - anniversary tour

Description
We take the Acherkogel cable car up to 2020m to Hochoetz. From there we hike along the forest path to the Bielefelder Hütte. After approx. 2 hours we reach the Wetterkreuz, where we enjoy the view of the Acherkogel and Lake Piburger See. In a north-easterly direction, the Lechtal Alps and the Zugspitze massif greet us in the distance. Zugspitz massif. The path leads down into the Wörgetal valley, past tiny lakes and glowing alpine roses. We soon reach the Knappenhaus on Lake Pochersee (2020m), which was built 20 years ago and is a welcome resting place and play oasis for children. The descent leads to the former Obere Issalm, from there it is about 30 minutes to the bus stop ‘Kühtai Issalm-Issbrücke’ (1750m). At the end, everyone receives a souvenir gift and the bus takes them back to Oetz.
