Lovely Unterlehnerhof – located at about 1500 meters above sea level - is an old farmhouse that we have renovated with much love & charm. The authentic Tirolean style has been preserved. Our alpine hut makes the ideal place for nature lovers, those looking for peace and quiet, sports enthusiasts as well as everyone who loves the awe-inspiring view of the surrounding 3000m high peaks of the Ötztal Alps. In summer, sheep and trout in our own pond are happy about a visit. Myriad hiking and mountain tours can be started directly on your doorstep. The small holiday village of Gries is about 1 km away, there you can experience memorable days in the beginner's ski area and on the cross-country ski trails. Free skibus shuttles - the bus stop is right next to the guesthouse - takes you to the top ski areas within Ötztal (Sölden, Gurgl and Hochoetz family ski area). In Gries you will find a small corner shop and a restaurant. More restaurants, shops, pharmacy, doctors etc. are in Längenfeld.

Arrival information
Sustainable travel tip: Via daily international direct train connections to Ötztal-Bahnhof, from there directly by bus every half hour to the stop Längenfeld Abzw Gries, then continue with the call shared taxi to Gries. All information on travel options: www.oetztal.com/nachhaltige-anreise
Travel: In Längenfeld, turn left at the 1st roundabout and follow the mountain road to Gries for about 5 km. The road to Gries is well constructed and wonderfully cleared in winter with snow, making it easily passable. Nevertheless, in extreme winter weather conditions, snow chains are recommended. Our house is located about 200 m after the avalanche gallery on the right side - WARNING still before the village of Gries.
