Guided tour of the tower museum

Turmmuseum (Oetz)
31. October 2025

Description

It’s a very special kind of offer: listening to eerie stories at night, in the dark, inside the medieval tower museum. Stories that actually did—or very well could have—happened.

For those who aren’t in the mood for the usual Halloween hustle and bustle but are still intrigued by ghostly and unexplained phenomena, especially through stories drawn from the archives of the museums and other regional archives, this is the perfect event. Annine Seebacher and Nikodemus Brugger will present the audience with all kinds of spine-chilling tales, with new stories added each year.

The themes of this special guided tour include “Gewornen” (premonitions of a known person’s impending death), superstitious practices in everyday life, the use of “folk medicine,” and its connections to mummies, witches, and executioners.

Due to great demand, the tour will take place twice on this evening: at 6:00 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m.
