There is always enough time for a visit to the "Alm" (Alpine mountain hut)! ALMZEIT is the name of this adventurous family hiking trail where families get in close touch with the variety and characteristics of mountain huts and Alpine pastures in and around Sölden. For example the "animal" Gaislach Alm: Here you will not only find a petting zoo but also pony riding and a trout pond.

Modern Treasure Hunt: Geocaching

Equipped with a special treasure hunting map (or alternatively with a GPS device), small and big adventurers set off into the scenic Ötztal mountains. They not only discover the beauty of nature in a playful way, but in the best case also the very well-hidden treasure chests. Anyone who can find them all will get a small personal treasure as well!

Ötzi Village Umhausen

Ötzi Village & Local Heritage Museum

At the Ötzi Village you can take a closer look at the probably most famous man of the Stone Age. The archaeological outdoor park shows how the Neolithic people lived, hunted and worked. Giddy up! From the entrance to the valley to its rear end there are myriad options in Ötztal for saddling a horse and trotting through the picture-book landscape on the back of Shetland ponies, Icelanders or Haflingers. Playgrounds & Fun Parks

Sliding, climbing, swinging: There is an abundance of exciting playgrounds spread all over the valley in order to pass the time (in a meaningful way). Or WIDIs Kids Park in Oetz, the Ochsenbrunnen Forest Playground, etc. etc. - the list would go on and on.
