Public transport
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal station. The terminus or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can travel conveniently and quickly by public bus or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination! The current bus timetable is available at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
Directions
The car trip to ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the Ötztal branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car, visitors drive through the Inn valley to the entrance of the valley and continue along the Ötztal. Besides the toll highway, country roads can also be used. In Gurgl, the following parking options are available:
- Obergurgl village center parking garage (down right in front of the church), paid | € 2.00 per hour
- Entrance parking garage – Festkoglbahn valley station, paid | € 6.00 per day
- Hochgurglbahn valley station parking lot, free – no overnight parking
- Top Mountain Crosspoint parking lot, free
- Hochgurgl parking lot, free (very small parking lot)
