On the federal road towards the hamlet of Pirchhof - follow the houses until you reach a fountain - keep to the left on the asphalt road (Beerweg) to Oetz - past the recycling plant, cross Ötztaler Ache mountain river. Leaving behind also the "Nature Resort Achstüberl" you continue on Medinger Weg trail and return to Sautens - cross the wooden bridge (Sautner Steeg) leading over the Ache river.

The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country roads.
