The starting and finishing point of the mountain bike tour to Lenzen Alm is the Freizeit Arena in the center of Sölden. Facing the Freizeit Arena, you start to the right and follow the Ötztal Cycle Path 11 until you reach the valley station of the Gaislachkogelbahn. Upon arrival at the Gaislachkogelbahn, turn right to reach the B186 federal road, which you follow until the junction where the glacier road branches off from the main road.

From here, continue to the right, climbing the steep glacier road. After two hairpin bends, leave the glacier road and turn left onto Infangstraße. Passing Infang, take the next possible left turn (marked by a red barrier) onto Obere Gewerbestraße and follow this road until you reach the B186 federal road again. Here, turn right and continue through Zwieselstein, ascending three more switchbacks until you reach the junction where the forest road branches off to the right, leading up to Lenzen Alm.

On the way back, follow the same route down to Zwieselstein and continue along the B186 federal road until you reach the valley station of the Gaislachkogelbahn. From there, follow the Ötztal Cycle Path 11 downstream back to your destination at the Freizeit Arena.

Although the gradient does not increase, the loose surface takes its toll on the muscles – heart rates rise. After seven kilometers of riding, you reach the Lenzen Alm at an altitude of 1,852 meters. This serviced mountain hut offers two sun terraces with breathtaking panoramic views of the Ötztal Alps. Across the valley, the daring route of the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road winds up to one of the highest mountain passes in the Alps. A truly beautiful place to pause and enjoy!
