The lovingly refurbished Tower Museum in Oetz, presenting a private collection of regional cultural assets and pictures that are well worth seeing. The exhibition testifies that Oetz has been a place of longing for poets, painters and mountain romantics for entire centuries. (Currently closed - guided tours are also available outside of opening times upon prior arrangement!)

A day in the snow: Glacier excursion for ski aficionados and snow fans

The glowing white summits of the unrivaled "BIG 3" seem to touch the Alpine valley.

  • An excursion to the glaciers of Tiefenbach and Rettenbach promises truly lasting impressions. In November, the glacier road takes you up high, then the mountain gondola whisks you up to almost 3250 meters.
  • During your vacation in Sölden you can explore the world of three thousand meter high peaks with the help of top modern mountain lifts: Gaislachkogl (3058 m), Tiefenbachkogl (3250 m) and Schwarze Schneid (3340 m). The lifts are expected to be open from mid-November.
