Learning from the bestWhether beginners or advanced climbers, the Ötztal Climbing Camps take your climbing technique to the next level. You can choose from 4-day sport climbing courses and 3-day multi-pitch climbing camps. Beginners learn more about motor skills and technical basics, experts are more interested in knots and abseiling techniques. You benefit from the knowledge and experience of trained mountain guides and top climbers such as the professional mountaineer Hansjörg Auer – he is a local Ötztal hero.
Ötztal Climbing Camps: reach the goal together
Depending on your skills and previous experience, you can choose from three sport climbing levels at the Ötztal Climbing Camps: Level 1 (basic course) is ideal for all rock climbing beginners. Level 2 (advanced course) brings you closer to specific rock climbing techniques. Level 3 (advanced course) improves your capacity of orientation and reaction. Thanks to a maximum group size of 7 people successful learning is guaranteed. Climbing in a group also promises memorable experiences. Basically, the training units take place in all the valley’s climbing gardens. In rainy weather, the Imst climbing hall (Inntal valley) makes a great alternative. If one rope length is not enough, you are strongly recommended to take part in the 3-day multi-pitch climbing course.
