A significant air mass boundary will affect our area throughout the rest of the week. Cold polar air will remain north of our area, while south of our area subtropical warm air will approach towards our direction. This will result in a very tumultuous, changeable and windy westerly current as a result of which Atlantic frontal systems will soon spread across our area. Increasingly milder air will set in, the snow line will rise towards 1500m above sea level on Thursday. This process may delay in the inneralpine regions. However, milder air will set in at the latest on Friday. At the same time, further precipitation will approach. Unsteady and varying conditions are expected towards the weekend and beyond it. The snow line will remain around 1100m above sea level.
