After the start of this challenging trail run in the center of Umhausen, participants head along the Wasserwaalweg to the foot of the Stuibenfall, where 728 natural and steel steps, as well as a dreamlike backdrop await. Passing the first refreshment station and arriving in Niederthai, there is some time to recover before the first highlight of the route awaits: Over the Rauhen Bichl it goes steadily steeply uphill towards Narrenkogel. Once at the Narrenkogel, runners enjoy the panorama before a crisp single trail leads back down over the mountain meadows. There you have the opportunity to fortify yourself at another refreshment station before running from Grastal to Niederthai. Arriving back in Niederthai, the trail continues for the second time over the Rauhen Bichl, towards Höfle and Bichl to the next refreshment station. Last reserves are exhausted over the downhill to Umhausen and along the last section over the Steppsteig to the finish in the village center.
