Trail Center Ötztaler Höhe

Biking from April to October

Where Ötztal branches off from Inntal valley, where mild temperatures prevail and apple orchards line the roads together with vineyards, the cycling and biking season is long - and the local biking scene is accordingly strong. Here you enjoy pedaling from April until late October. The bike elite has been meeting at cross country races on Ötztaler Höhe for decades. This is also where Laura Stigger is at home, several time mountain bike and racing bike Junior World Champion.

We have expanded the race tracks and linked them to the Trail Center Ötztaler Höhe. Three trail loops are waiting for all types of cyclists and bikers right after the roundabout at the entrance to the valley and in the immediate vicinity of the Ötztal Cycle Trail. The routes are becoming increasingly difficult and demanding, from the easy WIDI beginner's trail to the snappy Wolf Pack Trail.

Each loop starts and ends at the same place. The equipment and infrastructures are also excellent here - including bicycle wash station, coffee and food for the cyclist. Also the Ötztal Bus, offering free bicycle transport for holders of a valid ticket, stops here, and anyone who is still looking for a refreshing swim afterwards is strongly recommended to head for the nearby AREA47.
