The Schweinfurter Hütte is located in the middle of the Ötztal mountains with a magnificent panorama view. The hut is very favored in summer for many mountain hiking tours and in the winter for ski mountaineering and snowshoe hiking. The mountain farms of Rotte Rofen, often called Rofenhöfe, are located at an altitude of 2,014 m and about one kilometre to the west and 114 metres higher than Vent in the Ötztal Alps. Like Vent itself, the farms form part of the municipality of Sölden in the Ötztal.The Rofenhöfe are the highest, year-round farmsteads in Austria (2014 m). The Gasthof Rofenhof is open (highseason, restday in summer on monday, restday in winter on sunday).
The Larstigalm lies at an altitude of 1.777 meters, surrounded by lash green meadows and the Ötztal mountains.
