The “must have rule” (tested, recovered, vaccinated) is required for access.

Further safety measures:

• A nose and mouth cover only has to be worn when picking up food (no ‘must have rule’ required)
• If you stay longer than 15 minutes, all guests are required to register

IMPORTANT for an overnight stay in a mountain hut in summer 2021:
Without a reservation, no sleeping place can be allocated. Overnight stays are only possible with your own warm sleeping bag, because no additional blankets or beds can be provided in the huts. Every guest needs their own mouth and nose protection, as the minimum distance of 1 meter cannot be maintained in all areas.

Description

The Langtalereck Hut is located at the entrance of the Langtal valley, offering superb views of Gurgl's glaciers. The hut is serviced in summer and winter.

To Langtalereck Hütte:

• hiking from Obergurgl towards Schönwieshütte - Gufler Alm - Langtalereck Hütte (gravel trail), time: 2.5 h, length: 7 km
• with the car to Festkogel gondola or Obergurgl center
• Hohe Mut gondola up to Hohe Mut Alm, remaining time: 1 h, altitude gain: 300 m
• Mountainbike route to Langtalereck Hütte, length: 7 km, time: 1.5 h, altitude gain: 500 m

Winter: ski tour, Obergurgl - Schönwieshütte, altitude gain: 500 m, length: 6 km, time: 2 h

Schwärzenkamm via ferrata: approx. 20 walking minutes from Langtalereck Hütte.
