The registered German Alpine Club (Bielefeld Section) offers rest, comfort and a feast of food at its hut at the foot of the Acherkogel (3,008 m.). A visit to the Bielefeld Hut is a "must" for every walker. There are magnificent views of the Tyrolean mountains, easy to reach within half an hour from the upper station.
Winter: Christmas - Easter
Enjoy the large sun terrace offering fantastic views of the Stubai, Ötztal and Lechtal Alps. A great selection of walks with many variations.

The Kleinhorlachalm lies below the Schweinfurter Hütte in the middle of the Ötztal mountains. Magnificent panorama view, treat and nature.
Hiking path:
Parking: parking lot Sennhof Niederthai (next to the Information office)
Start the hike at parking lot Sennhof in Niederthai. Follow the forest trail along Horlach Brook into Horlachtal, past the mountain hut of Larstigalm and further to the Kleinhorlachalm.
Altitude gain: 370
Duration: 1,5 hours (up & down 3 hours)
Return: same route, from the Larstigalm "Bergmahder trail or Grastal trail" possible

Homely alpine hut on 2040 meters sea level offers hot meals all day, especially local food.
The taxi service will bring you easily to the Gaislachalm and back to Sölden.

The hut: common room with satellite TV, infrared cabin, pool billiards, sauna, steam room, a sun terrace with deck chairs.
Opening Hours: Today: 10:00 - 17:00Lovingly prepared Austrian dishes are served in the cozy Wirtshausstube parlor or on the separate, sheltered Wirtshaus terrace. Your meals are accompanied by selected premium wines of local winemakers or fresh draft beers. Stop off at the inviting Wirtshaus Bar and enjoy a cappuccino, a glass of wine or beer. Early birds can book a sumptuous breakfast in the Wirtshaus to boost their energy level for the day's skiing.

The hut: a quaint and cosy mountain hut with a friendly atmosphere. Wonderful location at Lake Winnebachsee, surrounded by mighty peaks, near an impressive waterfall. Great outing destination for families and hut hikers. In the summer great base for mountaineers, in the winter for ski mountaineers. Climbing garden in vicinity of the hut.
Crossings: Schweinfurter Hütte approx. 5 h, Westfalenhaus approx. 3 h, Amberger Hütte via Gries approx. 4 h or via Gaislehnscharte about 5 h (glacier experience!)
Peaks: Gänsekragen approx. 1.5 - 2 h, Hoher Seeblaskogel approx. 3 h.
With previous mountaineering experience and glacier equipment: Breiter Grieskogel approx. 3-4 h, Winnebacher Weißkogel approx. 3-4 h, Hohe Winnebachspitze approx. 3 h, Bachfallenkopf approx. 3 h (easy climbing in the upper part) (Alpine experience required).

Alpengasthof am Feuerstein is a superb walking destination but also a nice spot for weddings, baptisms and all kind of celebrations.
