The Frischmann Hut lies at an altitude of 2.192 meters in the middle of the Ötztal mountains and near the mountain "Fundusfeiler". She is a favored alpine and mountain hut. Follow the asphalt road in direction of Grube - turn left into the forest trail leading up to the Tumpen waterfall. Take the trail on the left towards Gehsteig Alm and Vordere Tumpener Alm as soon as you reach the last junction. The path on the right takes you to Armelen Hütte.
