An extremely warm and, in many places, significantly too dry September will be followed by record-breaking warmth in the first days of October. The temperature increase will remain unchanged at the beginning of the new week, as subtropical air masses will reach us with the wind shifting to the south. Perfectly sunny conditions are mostly expected on Monday, providing for perfect leisure weather. Even on Tuesday, the so-called "Indian summer" will not give up. The dry southern wind will intensify, and with plenty of sunshine, temperatures will quickly rise. As an Atlantic front will approach, clouds will increase as the day progresses. In the evening respectively on Tuesday night, scattered rain showers are expected as the Atlantic front will cross our area. Afterwards, the next high-pressure system will quickly establish itself with clear and dry weather. Daily high temperatures will generally decrease.
