The Gurgl Carat congress center and event center is located amidst the unique Ötztal mountains in the heart of the village of Obergurgl. The extraordinary architecture in the form of a diamond, the ultra-modern technology and the flexible room concept invite you to meet at the highest level. The mirror of the mountains.The lake is a popular destination for young and old.Swimming is allowed at the bathing area and rowing boats can be rented. In summer, the lake reaches a water temperature of up to 24°C, making it one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol.You can reach Lake Piburg from Oetz, Habichen, Piburg or Sautens on many different hiking and walking trails. Our new VVT bike boxes at the Mini-M (Post place) are available for the safe parking of bikes. These are enclosed parking spaces that provide the best possible protection against vandalism, theft and weather. All ten bike boxes are equipped with a secure lock, interior lighting and storage tray/clothes hook.
