From the Sennhof car park (next to Information Office Niederthai) a hiking trail along the rushing waters of Horlachbach brook is leading directly to Larstigalm. To the left there is the slightly steep and narrow hiking trail „Bermahderweg“ (later broad forest trail) which leads to the „Bergmahder“ and downwards back to Niederthai. Hubertus Chapel, an ideal rest stop area, nestles in a sunny spot.
