From there you follow the road to Bielefelder hut. Behind the hut, the trail is quite steep. Beneath the top of Brunnenkopf you turn right and follow the track to Old Bielefelder Hut, this hut is destroyed.
You pass the ruin and follow the Wilhelm-Oltrogge-Weg. This is a black signed hiking trail, which is difficult.
You pass by the Hochreichkopf and on the way to Hochreichscharte you have to cross a safety rope. From there you walk down to Schweinfurter Hütte.
