SAUTENS -> Kreuzkapelle -> schwarze Markierung -> unteres Forchet -> Kreuzkapelle -> SAUTENS
Over 3000 years ago a huge rockslide happened and big parts of the Tschirgant massif crashed down into the valley by blocking the entrance to the Ötztal. Today the whole area is a true natural gem, almost untouched by men at the heart of the densely populated Tirolean Inntal valley. The myth-enshrouded, wood-covered oasis offers heaps of silent spots plus rare Alpine fauna and flora. Start Kreuzkapelle Sautens - black Sign - walking time 3 hours
