Information: Coronavirus topic
Further current information:
Tyrolean governor Günther Platter isolated all of Tyrol as a precautionary measure in the fight against the corona virus on March 19. From now on, all villages in Ötztal and Tyrol are quarantined up to and including April 13, 2020. The Tirolean Health Authorities officially declared Sölden a Covid-19 quarantine area on 17 March. The reason for this statement are several infections with the Corona virus that have occurred in Sölden. Therefore Sölden is cut off from the outside world at the moment, and accessible again via federal road only on 14 April.
As responsible tourism organization, we welcome this measure. It will help to protect the health of the local population and, above all, of our guests and employees. We strongly recommend all international guests to follow the measures decreed in Austria also in their home countries.
