The hut is located at an altitude of 1575 m in a particularly quiet location. The Sulztalalm is located at an altitude of 1,915 m. From the parking area in Gries the path leads through meadows to the "Vögelasbrücke" at first. Continue the path to Sulztalalm at a slight hikingtrail trough the forest. (Approx. 1,5 h walking time)After a refreshment with good homemade meals you can continue the hike to Ambergerhütte. (1 h walking time)

Panorama Restaurant Hochoetz, nestles at 2020 m above sea level right next to the top station of Acherkogel mountain gondola and the family adventure WIDIVERSUM HOCHOETZ. Divine culinary pleasures. The TOP Mountain Star is a highlight which you simply cannot afford to miss during your holiday in Gurgl. At over 3,030 m, this architectural masterpiece is perched on a narrow ridge of the Wurmkogel. The mountain restaurant is a successful combination of a panoramic platform and a summit bar. In addition to culinary delights, you can also enjoy a phenomenal view of the Ötz valley Alps up to the Dolomites here. The continuous glass face allows a 360° view.
