Ötztal is a wild valley. It bubbles, rushes and rustles. It rises steeply and gives deep insights. If you like to feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins, you can do it on water, on rock and in the air. Canyoning through ravines, river rafting on waves and rapids, wakeboarding at AREA47, Austria's largest outdoor adventure park. Or maybe you prefer rock climbing, balancing at the high rope park or taking off while paragliding?
Ötztal promises dizzy heights - and also steep terrain. If you prefer a more effort-saving climb, you can also take a panoramic ride on one of the valley's twelve summer mountain lifts. Between Oetz, Sölden and Gurgl they quickly whisk you up to the panoramic trails, summit tours and adventure playgrounds. Down on the valley floor you can comfortably embark on regular bus lines and glacier shuttles, and there are also additional hiking buses and hut taxis.
