Under the starry sky

A grassy spot with a tent? That's what camping used to be! Today, camping vacationers in Ötztal can look forward to far more comfort than just a place to sleep. "Glamping" or "Glamorous Camping" is the undisputed trend in the camping sector, where all modern comforts of a hotel are combined with the natural environment and freedom of a campsite. But also fans of "purist" camping - equipped only with a tent - will find their perfect pitch at one of the 4 family-run campsites in Ötztal.

Rainer Krismer and his family have been running the campsite in Umhausen in the center of Ötztal Valley since 1987. In a sunny and quiet setting, encircled by lush green meadows and a mountain brook, the campsite is just a stone's throw away from the Stuiben Falls, Tirol's biggest waterfall.

The Ötzi Village, the Birds of Prey Park and the refreshing Umhausen Swimming Lake or the Kneipp Trail are within easy walking distance from the campsite. Just like the village center of Umhausen at about 200 meters, where shops as well as events such as village festivals or concerts await visitors.

The camping site, which is open all year round, offers everything that makes a camping fan's heart beat faster: New state-of-the-art sanitary facilities, the quaint "Kaminstadl" restaurant, a boulder climbing wall and also two (block) huts are available for overnight stays.

The Auer family has run the campsite on Längenfeld's forest edge for decades. Very comfortable: Despite the quiet location, the center of Längenfeld is only 500 meters away. The heated outdoor pool is just a stone's throw away - admission is included. The Aqua Dome, Tirol's largest thermal spa bath, is 250 meters away and can be reached on foot very quickly.

In general, the campsite makes a true heaven for active vacationers as distances are very short - both in summer and winter: tennis courts, street soccer, basketball, beach volleyball and a children's playground can be reached in no time. Those who are attracted by the vastness of the Ötztal mountains will find the ideal starting point for hikes and high Alpine tours at the campsite in Längenfeld. Even in the winter months, campers can start their activity program directly from their pitch since cross-country ski trails and winter hiking routes lead right past the area.

The campsite is open all year round and offers also a wellness area with sauna, solarium and infrared cabins. New first-class sanitary facilities, the "Infang" restaurant/pizzeria and 4 luxurious Alpine Lodges for rent ("glamping") put a huge smile on every camper's face.

Where the heart of Nature beats.
A WARM WELCOME TO THE NEW NATUR CAMPING KUPRIAN

What if there was a place where everyday life couldn’t find you? Where nature is your only accomplice and being outdoors is a way of life? The new Camping Kuprian in Huben in the Ötztal is such a place. It always has been. After the renovations in autumn 2022, the family-run campsite now boasts an impressive main building. The contact point and centrepiece with a modern reception, in-house á la carte restaurant, lounge, comfortable washrooms and small sauna area. All carefully rebuilt, renovated and extended. The result is a place of encounter and comfort that has been carefully and aesthetically integrated into the intact natural surroundings.

Our soft spot for local resources, wood, stone and water is still in the forefront – in the furnishings and in the many nature-loving details. Inside and out, at the campsite.

Look forward to camping just like in the old days but with comfort like never before!

Camping Sölden is centrally located in a quiet setting, right next to the Ötztaler Ache mountain brook at about 1400 meters above sea level. Thanks to its premium location, the camping area - which is open all year round - offers a top class retreat for active vacationers.

The Gaislachkogl mountain gondola is only 200 meters away - in almost no time you can bike or walk to the base station to conquer the trails of BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN or to explore Sölden's pasturelands. In winter, the feeder gondola promises quick and easy access to the giant Sölden ski area - thanks to short distances the ascent is child's play!

But not only mountain bikers, active vacationers and winter sports aficionados will find their luck at the campsite in Sölden. On rainy days, the 85 m² indoor climbing wall promises fun for all the family. An in-house wellness parlor including Finnish sauna, steam bath, relaxation room and much more spoils guests who want to enjoy holidays at a more leisurely pace. Just like the wellness area, also the (award-winning) sanitary facilities are in first-class condition.

Fall asleep to the sound of the Inn River. Ines and Klaus Fankhauser's small but fine campsite has seven tent and pitch sites for camping tents, caravans and campers. Here you wake up in the morning with the first rays of sunshine, ready to set off for the next adventure. The campsite has a communal barbecue area, sanitary & washrooms incl. hot water, water & electricity connection, washing-up area as well as free use of the chill-out zone.

For adventures you are at the right address, because Ines and Klaus are experienced outdoor guides, who offer rafting, canyoning, climbing and canoe tours with their team. But also all around the region has a lot to offer. Conquer the mountains while hiking and mountaineering or explore the Ötztal on the bike path or while casually downhilling in the Bike Republic Sölden. Cooling off in the nearby pools and lakes is also well catered for.
