The registered German Alpine Club (Bielefeld Section) offers rest,
comfort and a feast of food at its hut at the foot of the Acherkogel
(3,008 m.). A visit to the Bielefeld Hut is a "must" for every walker.
There are magnificent views of the Tyrolean mountains, easy to reach
within half an hour from the upper station.
