The Ötztal State Music School invites you to the traditional gala concert of the Symphonic Wind Orchestra.

Once again, the ambitious goal of bringing together students, teachers, and passionate members of the Ötztal brass bands has been achieved.

This year, the renowned wind orchestra conductor and educator Philipp Kufner from Germany has been secured as guest conductor for the project. Kufner's guest conducting engagements have taken him to Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic, France, and Hungary. He has worked with prestigious ensembles such as the Bavarian Police Orchestra, the Munich Federal Police Orchestra, and the Baden-Württemberg State Wind Orchestra. He is also the artistic director of the South German Wind Philharmonic and serves as a music teacher at two prominent music schools in Bavaria.

The program for the evening includes:

  • Olympic Fanfare – John Williams
  • Jubilee Overture – Philip Sparke
  • Godspeed – Stephen Melillo
  • Overture to the operetta "The Beautiful Galatea" – Franz von Suppé
  • El Camino Real – Alfred Reed

The audience can look forward to an unforgettable and musically outstanding evening.
