5 days of summit trekking in Ötztal
This multi-day tour is suitable for slightly advanced hikers with prior mountain experience. It is important that you are very surefooted, not afraid of heights and have a good basic level of fitness. In general, you should be in good physical shape and healthy. The package is perfect for you if you love the mountains, are looking for a new adventure, but also long for safety, zero planning stress and company!

Arrival & hike to Bielefelder Hütte
At 13:00 we meet, ready to set off with all required equipment, at the tourist information office in the village center of Oetz. Transfer of the hiking group by hiking taxi (approx. 20 min) to Ochsengarten (1,542 m) and start of the 1st stage. Stopover at Balbach Alm before heading to the stage’s destination, scenic Bielefelder Hütte (2,112 m), where we have dinner and stay overnight.

Summit tours to Rosskopf & Wetterkreuz
After breakfast, we climb two peaks: Rosskopf (2,399 m) and Wetterkreuz (2,591 m). The descent leads through picture-book "Wörgetal" along "Knappenweg" trail to Kühtai. There we circle Längental water reservoir before reaching the stage destination, Dortmunder Hütte. Dinner and overnight stay at the hut.

The tour’s highest summit, Kraspesspitze
On the third day, we continue past “Finstertaler Stausee” steadily uphill towards Finstertaler Scharte. From there, the trail leads to the tour’s highest peak, Kraspesspitze (2,955 m). Followed by the descent through “Weites Kar” past small mountain lakes and brooks down to Schweinfurter Hütte. Dinner and overnight stay at the hut.

Crossing of Zwieselbachjoch & Winnebachseehütte
Start of the 4th stage, leading from the uppermost Horchlachtal through Zwieselbachtal. After crossing Zwieselbachjoch with a view of mighty Strahlkogel, Breiter Grieskogel and 3,000-meter giants of southern Ötztal, we descent towards scenically located Winnebachseehütte, the stage’s destination, follows. Dinner and overnight stay at the hut.

Last summit tour to Ernst-Riml-Spitze & descent
We set off for the tour’s very last summit, Ernst-Riml-Spitze (2,507 m) which can be reached from the hut in just under 45 minutes, covering less than 200 altitude meters. Followed by a leisurely and very beautiful descent along Winnebach brook to Gries in Sulztal. After a refreshment stop, we take the hiking taxi back to the starting point in Oetz.
