The Sulztalalm is located at an altitude of 1,915 m. From the parking area in Gries the path leads through meadows to the "Vögelasbrücke" at first. The Schweinfurter Hütte is located in the middle of the Ötztal mountains with a magnificent panorama view. The hut is very favored in summer for many mountain hiking tours and in the winter for ski mountaineering and snowshoe hiking. The Hausersee hut on the "Geigenkamm", named after his highest sumit, the "Hohe Geige" (3395 m), in the Ötztal Alps. The lake which is hardly warmer than 4 degrees in summer, lends his name to the house.
