The Polles valley is the longest side valley of the Ötztal.The Polles Alm is located at an altitude of 1.782m and is easily accessible in approx. 2 hours starting at the football ground in Huben. The first path leads through the „Ötztaler Sagenweg“ to the Feuerstein hut and further on an old very beautiful hiking trail up to the Polles hut.Ideal for a family hike or for a mountain bike tour.On Saturday and Sunday, the innkeepers offer an alpine breakfast by prior arrangement. From Monday to Friday (Wednesday closed) the alpine breakfast can be booked in advance for 6 or more people.

Fiegl's Hütte on Windachalm 1985m:Visit our Fiegl's Hütte in the romantic Windachtal,better known as "LITTLE CANADA" among mountain and hunting aficionados.Approx. 1h45min. walking time from Sölden. It's also possible to take the bus line from Sölden to us. The bus stops approx. 500m in front of our hut. For bike aficionados there are plenty of singletrail routes in all difficulties leading from and to the hut.Tasty dishes, refreshing drinks and a cozy spot with a great view right to the Stubai and Ötztal Alps...Fiegl's Hütte...amidst "Sölden's quiet part". It's the starting point for scenic mountain hikes e.g. to the "Zuckerhütl", the highest mountain in the Stubai Alps, as well as various hut hikes: Hochstubaihütte 4-5h, Siegerlandhütte 3h, Hildesheimerhütte 3h and Brunnenkogelhaus 3h, Kleble Alm 2h.However, if these tours are too demanding, you can also hike leisurely in the Windachtal - without high gradients - on a comfortable hiking path. Or you just enjoy this border valley between the Ötztaler and Stubai Alps in Fiegl's Hütte, with cake and coffee.
