Starting in Oetz, you take a gondola ride with Acherkogelbahn up to Hochoetz (Price without ÖC € 9.00). Scenic peak hike to Wetterkreuz summit at 2,591m. First you continue on the forest trail to Bielefelderhütte, later you take the narrow walking path - always follow the signposts. During the whole ascent you enjoy picture-book views of the valley, Oetz and Sautens. The winding and steeply descending return route travels past Balbachalm and the ski slope at the end of the trail. Enjoy a stopover at lovely Balbachalm before you walk down to Ochsengarten through the scenic stone pine forest. From here you return to Oetz by public bus (Price without ÖC € 3.10).
