TRAIL COURSE:
Start at the car park in Au in direction Winklen -> turn into Geological Theme Trail after 200 meters -> steep section up to Winkelberg -> short track without change in elevation, then uphill again to lake Winkelbergsee -> back to the valley bottom along the forest trail -> right across the meadows before you reach Unterried, towards the Ötztaler Ache river -> back to starting point (northwards)

Varied running route along the scenic Geological Theme Trail, past the crystal clear lake Winklenbergsee.
