TUMPEN CLIMBING GARDEN (ENGELSWAND)

A huge lawn in the foothills and a great choice of different routes make the Tumpen Climbing Garden the most family-friendly climbing area in Tirol. A new section was opened on the right side of the rock face, which is very well secured and therefore ideal for beginners, young adults and children. The Engelswand rock face really has it all: corner lines, wonderful overhangs, challenging grooves and ledges.

Getting there
Coming from Oetz in the direction of Umhausen / Sölden; after approx. 1.5 km from the village of Tumpen you cross the bridge and turn left at the bus stop.

Parking
Only in the marked parking area in the hamlet of Lehn-Platzl.

To the rocks
You can see the Engelswand from the parking area; easily accessible within a 10-minute walk along the gravel trail.
