OBERRIED CLIMBING GARDEN

At the eastern end of Längenfeld’s wide and open basin you find the climbing area of Oberried, boasting a wide range of easy routes overlooking the lush green meadows and pasturelands. Skilled climbers can take full advantage of steep overhangs and typical grooves and fissure routes. Oberried is always worth a visit, especially for families combining a day trip to the Ötztal Valley with some exciting climbing hours.

Getting there
Coming from Oetz you turn right into the hamlet of Au; via Winklen you reach the turn-off to Oberried after about 3 km.

Parking
In Oberried right next to the old fire department at the south-eastern end of the village.

To the rocks
Crossing the meadows you reach the climbing wall within a few minutes; please close the pasture gates.
