St. Vitus`Parish Church - Umhausen

The parish church of Umhausen was built in 1220. Mainly Gothic building, renewed in 1682 by adding a northern steeple and a three-sided choir stall. High-quality interior, splendid fresco paintings in Gothic style (1st half of the 14th century), filigree high altar with neo-Gothic elements, countless Baroque figures.

Splendid Gothic Pietà dating back to 1360. The adjacent Nepomuk Chapel was added in 1771, featuring fresco paintings by Josef Keil. Funerary chapel with arched entrance area. Small recesses in the graveyard walls, decorated with Rococo statue of Saint Vitus (dating back to 1770). Picturesque graveyard with beautiful crosses designed by the local artist blacksmiths. Precious Stations of the Cross and wayside shrines.

St. Martin`s Parish Church - Tumpen

Baroque-style church built in 1665, renewed in 1719. Redesigned in Gothic style in the course of the 19th century. Artistic western steeple dating back to 1884, wonderful lancet windows. The facade features three Rococo frescoes (weather makers, good shepherd). Inside the church you find a barrel vault and relatively modest decorations dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries. Funerary chapel with barrel vault and wonderful image of the Virgin Mary.

Church consecrated to the "Virgin Mary in Pain" - Köfels

Small church in Köfels with double bay, built in 1774. Five-sided choir area and stall, steep saddleback roof, western steeple with eight-sided top part and onion-shaped tower. The outstanding vaulted interior offers rich Rococo-style decorations. Original vestry annex facing to the south. Gorgeous location on the ancient retaining wall.

St. Anthony`s of Padova Chaplain Church - Niederthai

The picturesque church of Niederthai, a true Baroque gem, is consecrated to Saint Anthony. Inaugurated and consecrated in 1698. The interior features a precious high altar in Baroque style and fresco paintings of diverse saints. Rich stucco decorations which still remind of the great importance of this parish church in the past.

St. Mary`s of the Snow Chapel - Lehn Platzl

Large triple bay chapel in Baroque style, built in 1797. Among the chapel's highlights: secluded choir area, semicircular choir stall, curved gable facades, steep saddleback roof, onion-shaped timber spire and wonderful moulds, clearly sectionalized interior. Splendid Rococo decorations such as fresco paintings by Gabriel Theunig, a high altar with countless figures (Longinus, Florian, Katherina, Barbara), precious Stations of the Cross paintings. A well-loved place for weddings amid picture-book landscapes!
